I played the original 2019 shortly after launch, any balance patches?

I'm having a hard time finding anything. As far as people know, did they balance weapons? Perks? companions?

Just curious. I don't recall anything in particular aside from the Science weapons being OP, not just in the sense they had strong effects but you could get a perk that made keeping them upgraded and on your level cheap. Compared to standard weapons.

*unrelated rant. I actually used an unlimited money cheat since some of my fav weapons were these uniques but once you upgraded them a few times, it became so insanely expensive it literally wasn't feasible to do it without cheats. Thought it really hurt the weapon variety and was surprised there wasn't a version like the science weapon perk.

So if you found a unique weapon you liked, it wouldn't last long due to becoming too underleveled to be used.
