One setting tweak
I managed to get good improvement just by lowering 3D resolution to 70. I even upped everything to Ultra and get 67 fps with no stutters.

That just means playing the game at a lower resolution, might as well recommend people to play at 720p. Thats not a good solution

That's what DLSS does if it's in the game which it isn't, so adjust the 3D resolution yourself to get the fps you want.

It's a perfectly fine solution that a lot of games have used for years prior to DLSS and FSR, and can be found in a lot of graphics or display settings menus. I'm running mine at 80% of 4k, which still looks great, but also provides a good performance boost over native. The only difference between doing this and, say, setting your overall output res to a lower setting (1440p on a 4k display for example), is the scaling's being done either via game engine, or gpu, and not letting your display handle scaling.

Bro that is not how it work. There is way more complicated thing going on with DLSS such as Using AI to render future frame. If it is just what u said then we wont need new gpu to use it.

As compared to less than 30 fps with a lot of stutters and tearing with the default settings, which were even only Very High. This is a suggested tweak for the immediate problem not perfection.

Clueless comment.

I’m still adjusting the settings for my PCP (potato PC):
Ryzen 7 2700
16GB
GTX-1080

I’m not seeing my Nvidia image scaling blue watermark so I’d guess it’s not working with this.

Which scaling should I use? Nvidia, game, both?

I’m obviously just running 1080 but full screen windowed.

I played the base game & performance was fine with no stuttering but the SCE wow, the default settings (high) had a huge lag on effects, like 3-5 fps for nearly a second.

Game looks fantastic but does remastered usually mean more clutter and blades of grass? :steamhappy:

Yeah it looks like they just added a lot of stuff without thinking of performance hit. There does seem to be a lot of grass blades, and how they become transparent when you walk through, I don't remember if it was that way in the base game?

2560 x 1440, which due to the tweak becomes I guess about 1080 which ain't bad.
