Cant say i noticed any visual improvements in the trailer, but the increased skill cap is nice + IGN say theres going to be dynamic weather which would be nice and according to Euro gamer the upgrade will cost only £5, which because its Obsidian and how Bethesda did them wrong with the bonuses for Fallout NV, Ill support this game and them one more time.

Im buying it too. It looks nice. And i have seen in the trailer that they even changed some models, not only textures. + better performance ( i hope so) , level cap ( it was very bad choice in the original game), dynamic weather and who knows what.

I dont have much spare money but 10 EUR isnt much. Id say that its really cash grab if it would be 20+ eur

I kinda got the Gold Edition on a discount too, and haven't played it yet. So when this was announced... I guess adding $10 EUR for a better experience (how it's meant to be played) isn't too much / is worth it.

I remember the developers were heavily criticized before the release, many gamers mocked the graphics, the textures, how the models looked. Obisidian tried apologizing and explaining that they DID wish the graphics were BETTER, but they focused on the story primarily, etc. So I guess this upgrade is addressing that fancy angle of the game.

Yes, because spending the equivalent of 9 cents is the same as wanting to burn all my money. Its all relative, not everyone has the same income. To some $9 might as well be $90. However, on average $9 is just $9 and that is not a lot.

Yeah, jump to conclusions quickly. Taking into account the state of most releases nowadays I wouldn't be surprised if the improved edition had worst performance than the old game.

I was worried they were gonna offer measly 10% off or make it $29.99 half price, or something. I would prefer it was $5.99, but $9.99 is also not too much (albeit on the borders of pushing it).

If the developers were truly greedy they'd have offered 10% off or went with the half price BS.

This likely has nothing to do with Obsidian. This is very likely a project spearheaded by the game's publisher, Private Division (Take Two subsidiary), with the work done by 3rd party contract studio, Virtuos. Virtuos specialise in enhanced ports/remasters for other publishers, eg Batman: Return to Arkham remaster collection, Horizon: Zero Dawn PC port.
