Post your specs and experience here
Making this lil thread to see what combo of hardware has less issues than others, could lead to this game getting patched sooner than later.

CPU: R9 7900x
RAM: 2 x 16 32gb DDR5 6000 CL30
Storage: 1tb & 2tb gen 4 Samsung 980 pro NVME
Graphics: XFX Merc 310 speedster black edition RX 7900 XTX
Sound: Creative G6
Windows 11 22H2 22621.1265
Resolution: 1080p 144hz

Experience:
averaging 130fps in open areas/ town, experiencing massive stutters/ pauses when objects are appearing from behind other objects ( occlusion/ LOD ) Example, opening a door it will stutter, or if you turn a corner of a building it will stutter or pause momentarily.

Edit: I think i know what the problem is, looked through the game files to find 4 huge .pak files. Pakchunk0 = 17.6gb, pakchunk1 = 20.2gb, pakchunk15 = 7.8gb, pakchunk16 = 7.08gb.
What this means is your CPU is trying to decompress these massive files to access objects that where occluded/ LOD'ed on the fly, 20 gigs to be decompressed on the fly is no instantaneous task. They will have to split these files up a bit more.

i9-11900k (not overclocked)
64Gb RAM
RTX 3070 Gigabyte Gaming OC
NVME drive
Win11
3440 x 1440 DP

various drops below 60fps with setting ranging from off/low and high

Original version runs virtually locked 60 on Very High across the board.

ALL system and video driver upto date.

5800X3D, 32GB 3600Mhz RAM, 6800 XT 16GB. 1440p ultra is completely unplayable stuttery mess, very high is little better and high is playable. Still minor stutters but I consider it playable. Does not help that game defaults to ultra, 1440p ultra offers 30-45fps stuttery mess. 1440p high mostly stays above 70fps.

Dell XPS 13 Plus 1280P Iris Xe 96 EU's 32GB DDR5 5200

Performance WOULD be nice but I face extreme color rendering problems I get an almost completely white screen once the controlled gameplay starts.

To picture it the best, please see below link:

I'm too lazy to post my specs, but the game runs quite well.

Perhaps you're too lazy to notice any difference between, say, poorly and well.... so we are merely given 'quite well'?

CPU: 5800 x3d
Corsair ram 16 gigs
3080ti founders
wd nvme black
evga 1000 watt psu
Alienware curved monitor: the bomb lol
3440x1440
Asus toughgaming motherboard x570 pro

Ultra settings

After the patch the game runs beautifully, no chop at all except a little bit when I load into a new area, just right at the start. This is a homebuilt machine running windows 10. it is a 120 hz monitor so I have it set at that and fps is around 80 most of the time, don't really monitor it that much because I don't really care as its smooth enough for me. The 3080 ti does get around 80 degrees at times but the game is stable, no crashes yet. I did play the original also but on a way different speced pc.

The case is an original alienware case just doesn't have any of the components that came inm it. Airflow isn't really the greatest in it but it doesn't really overheat, the cpu runs cool. I have a be quite dark rock pro.

anyway , may the pc gods work in your favor...

This is with current patch (1.1?). Ultra settings, and just wandering around on first planet.

CPU: 5600x (~4.7ghz)
RAM: 2 x 8gb DDR4-3200 CL14
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 pro NVME
Graphics: Asus TUF 3080ti OC
Windows 11 22H2 22624.1546
Resolution: 1440p 144hz

Experience:
Massively variable framerate outside of conversations. Ranges from mid-50s through to 130s - GPU curiously underutilised (~90% usage) but no sign of a CPU bottleneck (3% usage heh). Very obvious shader compilation stutter on first view of something. In conversations, GPU usage hits 100% and fps is pretty steady around ~130.

This time with 1.2. Ultra settings again. No FSR. All on first planet again.

CPU: 5600x (~4.7ghz)
RAM: 2 x 8gb DDR4-3200 CL14
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 pro NVME
Graphics: Asus TUF 3080ti OC
Windows 11 22H2 22624.1546
Resolution: 1440p 144hz

Experience:
Framerate moves within narrower range, typically between 80s and 130s but can dip a bit lower more occasionally. Very occasional dip into the 40s. GPU seems better utilised (~98%). Still seeing stutter in places but it is improved from 1.1.

i9-13980HX, RTX 4090 Mobile, 64 GB DDR5 @ 4000 Mhz

Game runs at 4K Ultra at 45-60ish fps

Laughable experience, original runs at ~100 fps on the same settings.

EDIT: Turning on FSR Quality pushes it to around 100 fps average, runs fine then, but not sure why this was needed when the original ran this well at native resolution.

Getting 55-144 FPS with everything on ultra except for shadows. No stuttering.

I doubt that, seen your posts on others. After writing my post I did a little digging in the game files and the issue slapped my eyeballs hard. You see, Unreal engine uses it's own for of zip file called a pak file, You used .7z right? To unzip your mods n all that? Yeah, well paks work the same way. The devs didn't slpit up the paks into smaller sizes, there are 4 massive .pak files. one is 17.6 gb, second is 20.2, and the other two are just over 7gb. When objects are obscured by other objects they are culled and dropped from memory, so when they need to come back your cpu has to unzip the file, pull said object, throw it at your GPU. That's why there are stutters.
Thank you for this, that demystifies a lot even if it isn't the root cause in this case (I have little reason to doubt you ((intuition says you are right), just a clause)

The issues you are having are the same as the original release, when it first came out we had bad stuttering issues, and even after patching it still had some. It's because the .paks where not split up enough, so your CPU is being hammered when objects need to be called upon and the .paks in question need to be uncompressed to pull it.
Reading through this and it seems like the pattern at least on the first page is Intel users are fine and AMD users are stuttering. It probably isn't specifically the CPU itself so much as the god awful memory controller for Ryzen. Slow memory limited by a fabric which slows the North Bridge for some users by half the system memory speed. Then take that and compound it with high latency when accessing the system memory.

My i9-10900K with memory above 4000MHz CL16 has a latency of 48ns. My 5950X never got below 78ns no matter how hard I tried. Out of the box my 5950X was 98ns. I couldn't get my memory above past the mid 3700MHz range without the north bridge dropping to half the system memory speed. I have heard of some samples that could get higher but I wasn't that lucky.

I'm not sure but maybe the 3D cache variants might fare better but those are huge files so I doubt it.
Interesting that its still present with 5800X3D with 100MB cache and 32GB 3600Mhz CL16 memory. Definitely only game where I have issues. Even all big releases this year have worked fine where most people have complained.

I7 9700k
Rtx 3080ti
24gb ddr4 ( don't remember speed)
980 pro running at PCIe 4 because old motherboard

The slowdown has been pretty rough. I do have everything maxed at 4k on a 120 Hertz TV. I tried playing with settings but this game runs rougher than any other game in my library at the moment, I'm holding out hope for patches but I honestly haven't played with settings in depth. It isn't by any means unplayable but it is annoying.
