I've tried and this is unplayable - not because of FPS but because of stuttering
Welp, I tried. Disabled all the options, made FPS bearable and then started ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around Edgewater - OH MY GOD THE STUTTERS. THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ STUTTERS WHEN THE GAME LOADS ANYTHING. I got Samsung 980 Pro, RTX 3080 12G with Resizable BAR enabled and oh my god those stutters are horrible. I'm not sure if refunding $10 makes even sense but I have no idea how they could release it in this state... It's not the best choice it's Spacers Choice indeed.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amateurs.

What else is there to do, I agree. Now, we wait.

Yeah sadly that's my situation as well, the FPS is fine, especially with tweaks to settings and use the dynamic resolution. However it's the stutters which are proving hard to cope with, and I have to be honest I am gutted.

Just hope it is something that can be sorted, what a shame though.

Playing the waiting game now

It's compiling the shaders while you're playing. That's what is causing the stuttering. I'd prefer to wait 30 minutes before the game starts while the shaders are being compiled.

I created a tech support ticket on Private Division official ticketing tool (as many did) and I'm trying to convey that the issue is only partially in FPS. I managed to get it running playably good, but the absolute stutterfest is bad.

Each time I'm stuck after the starting cutscenes. I asked for a refund.

You already paid them. Why they should bother fixing it now?

Hint: You can refund.

So, I'm playing with a 3080, a 10900, 32GB, etc and the game is actually playing really well right now. I've had ZERO stutters so far, No bs pop-in, no crashes, just nada bad things happening. I've really no idea why you're not enjoying it. There's NO shaders loading while playing the game. The game does load distance (which causes pop-in in games) but the shaders all load before you fire the game up. in fact, ANY GAME that loads shaders while you play is garbage coding. Period. That's why if you've played certain games in the past you'll see the "SHADERS LOADING" prior to the game starting.

Have you tried turning down some things? Have you EVER cleaned your system? Updated your drivers? Have you tried to re-initialize your game folder to make sure everything is downloaded? Is your system absolutely garbage because you've loaded and deleted so many games on it and haven't defragged the thing in a LONG A$$ time? Do you have ANY other programs running in the background that could be corrupting your playtime? Things like Discord, any recording software, et?

I'm also using a 980 Pro SSD and a 3080. Have you checked your temps to make sure something else isn't wrong? Some kind of thermal issue?

If it's on the user's end, explain the bad reviews

Why do so many people have issues with stuttering? I either never had stuttering or I just don't notice it.
