I stumbled upon this game kind of by accident from other people mentioning it just in passing and I'm glad I did. Really enjoyed it.

Portal-like humour although not quite as good, with mostly decent easier puzzles. Interesting story as well, with likeable memorable characters. A bit nerdy without being over the top either. Not too much else to say about it really other than it's worth a playthrough for sure and deserves more attention that it currently has.

Control Scheme I Used: Default Binding Keyboard and Mouse. Supports controller. Only real complaint was that some dialogues required me hitting only the enter key to continue, no other key worked meaning i had to move my hand a fair bit at times for this.

Worth the current price (CDN$ 19.49)? Feels about right, if not a tad more than i normally spend.

Completionist Review:
DLC Achievements: No DLC.
Rating: Would be much better with chapter select or manual save slots. Not horrible though.
Can be completed in one run: No, but yes if you backup your save at a certain point.
Chapter Select: The game autosaves, you cant go backwards, cant save manually, no chapter select at all.
Did I need/use a guide? Yes, for the 2nd run to make sure i didn't miss anything.

There's a lot of achievements in this one, lots of different types of collectables (which is fine), and lots of one time achievements that were fairly easy to find. Some would be extremely difficult without a guide however. You can take your time however and there's no difficult challenges really or anything most people couldn't do, if they dont mind running through the game a couple times.

I really like this game, the puzzle is good, the story is very fun, and even has a touchy ending. I did run into some minor bugs in the game but it didn't interfere with my overall gameplay. So I'd that I had a great time with this game until I want to do a second round. As a person who likes to gather all the collectibles and earn achievements. I found the saving feature super annoying. The auto-save will not let me reverse my actions even within the same chapter. And there was no chapter selection after I beat the game. I had to start the whole game again and I could not skip any of the cutscenes and had to do the tutorial over and over. I restarted this game three times now because I keep realizing that I missed something in the previous chapter even though I was being really cautious, there's no way for me to go back. And the last time I gave up was on a collectible that got buried under the bit cubes and I couldn't pick it up. The auto-save is at the point after the cubes piling up so my only choice is to restart the level, and I was also at the end of that chapter. I'm not going back to collect things anymore until there are any changes to the saving feature.
