It is one of the best in the genre in my opinion. Tons of replay value and well polished.

It's "s-tier" for the genre. A contender for genre GOAT? Others have suggested it and the more I play the more I lean that way myself.

I slept on this game for a long time and played and refunded a whole lot of others out of the genre and I'm happy that I found this game.

I agree on the polish part - this game is tight.

To restate/summarize my review: better than usual graphics for the genre (superficial but is it a nice change from pixel art), excellent presentation and UI, excellent all around mechanics, fun, addictive, tons to unlock with a solid and clear progression system, all well represented in the game - you can find everything you need. Can be played with one hand including all UI actions - super clean UI. Nice mix of map types. Mix of infinite vs narrow vs wide - 5 maps that all play noticeably different. Great variation in classes, weapons, trinkets, everything.

Top tier in regards to Vampire Survivor inspired games. It's right up there with HoloCure and Soulstone Survivors. It's well worth the asking price, IMHO.

It IS the BEST IMHO...

This and Nordic Ashes are my favorites of the ones with modern visual presentation.

Hybrid between Rogue genesia and Vampire survivors ... a lot of maze like think go the do that unlock one thing the go there do that unlock another thing 500+ unlocks but it keeps you bussy and it's interesting because you have a lot of weapons and meta not like vamp 10/15 weapons max and that's it and you need strategy to play it builds may varry between stages but that's the good part of this game puzzle like bullet heaven ... I like it for the last 3/4 days 20 hours plus good game ...

It's pretty fun, got a solid 50+ hours out from it. There's a lot of levels, challenges and even an infinite-like metaprogression if that's your thing, tho it's not needed to clear.

I've tried loads of these kinds of games and this one is in my top 5. I really like the art direction and the perspective view.

My top 5 currently is as follows (Not in any order)
1. Vampire Survivors
2. Soulstone Survivors
3. Army of Ruin
4. Nordic Ashes
5. Halls of Torment

100% agree. I didn't finish this one yet, but for me this one is one of the more relaxing ones. Every day 1-3 runs and getting some achievements ;-)

I would recommend the following ones as well "Bounty of One", "Boneraiser Minions", "Project Lazarus", "Rogue: Genesia" and "Brotato". I have much more of them into my list, but you can't play them all :50kre::WololoDE::50kre:

No you can’t. If you ventured to play them all, you’d never leave the house. To each their own; pick the ones that you have the most fun with.

on par with vampire and soulstone survivors for me
Of all the survivors games I have played, it reminds me the most of Soulstone Survivors. I think this game is much more enjoyable than Soulstone because in Ruin there is way more build flexibility and the unlocks happen more frequently (feels less grindy). Army of Ruin just generally feels like a more complete and well rounded game.
