I slept on this game for a long time and played and refunded a whole lot of others out of the genre and I'm happy that I found this game.
I agree on the polish part - this game is tight.
To restate/summarize my review: better than usual graphics for the genre (superficial but is it a nice change from pixel art), excellent presentation and UI, excellent all around mechanics, fun, addictive, tons to unlock with a solid and clear progression system, all well represented in the game - you can find everything you need. Can be played with one hand including all UI actions - super clean UI. Nice mix of map types. Mix of infinite vs narrow vs wide - 5 maps that all play noticeably different. Great variation in classes, weapons, trinkets, everything.
My top 5 currently is as follows (Not in any order)
1. Vampire Survivors
2. Soulstone Survivors
3. Army of Ruin
4. Nordic Ashes
5. Halls of Torment
100% agree. I didn't finish this one yet, but for me this one is one of the more relaxing ones. Every day 1-3 runs and getting some achievements ;-)
I would recommend the following ones as well "Bounty of One", "Boneraiser Minions", "Project Lazarus", "Rogue: Genesia" and "Brotato". I have much more of them into my list, but you can't play them all
