How much does this dlc addition move the needle for you? We all knew it was coming soon and now it will be here in a few weeks.

Very little. Polishing a turd only goes so far. They need to fix the broken trash game before trying to charge money for more crap on the pile.

Sporadically adding new additions to the roster (who should have already been in the base game) does nothing for this game, at this point. Absolutely nothing. It's missing and lacking so much as a package that adding a new wrestler is literally, 100% meaningless.

Hopefully season 4 is the last before they give up and stop supporting this absolute joke of a game so we can move on and pretend it never happened, which I imagine it may well be. It's lost them millions, reportedly.

It's safe to say Yukes screwed the pooch on this game and lost a vast majority of their playerbase in the first month who aren't coming back regardless of wrestler DLC. You can add Adam Copeland, add Kazuchika Okada or some other big named wrestler even as a free DLC and Yukes still won't get players to come back.

What part of the game is "broken?"

literally 90% of the game is broken... pin system, reversals, weapons turn transparent when you stand by them, most the skills and passives, all matches can be won in under one min, they entire CAW system, i could go on but i need to go to work. the only way to get this game to work is MODing it. Melonbread's Gameplay Overhaul Mod
This mod tweaks a lot of gameplay parameters including:-

- Player Health and Limb Stamina increased;
- Passive Skills tweaked (momentum nerfed, but things like Finisher reversals and Brutality buffed);
- Signature damage reduced;
- Time-based Momentum boost postponed to later in the match (and nerfed slightly);
- Deathmatch Explosion timer changed from 2 minutes to 7 minutes;
- Match Scoring changed to reflect longer matches with more moves;
- Signatures and Finishers now remove less Momentum from opponent;
- Desperation technique now available at higher Momentum;
- 20 hits to win Ladder Mini Game (increased from 10);
- Fixed issue with Damage Multiplier for Finishers;
- Chain Wrestling now available up to 50% health (rather than becoming unavailable at 75% health) - also tweaked Momentum for this;
- Taunting is far less effective;
- Winner gets up slightly quicker after successful pin (1 second rather than 2 seconds ... although I'm not convinced this change has worked);
- Can now manually bounce off the ropes 4 times rather than just once;
- Hot Tags enabled in Tag Matches;
- Multiple Bail Outs per match are back, but there's a far longer cooldown time;

These devs are clowns. Releasing superficial updates, instead of bolstering up the gameplay and adding useful game modes (like cross-plat, tag teams, and simple things like - you know - lobbies). They are completely clueless about what the game needs to be successful. They could have capitalised on the audience that wanted a solid alternative from the 2K series. Complete waste of a decent gameplay engine.
