What's the point in having Create An Arena?

Seriously, why even bother with Create An Arena if you can't create a show or championship? It makes no sense, there's no universe mode in this game unlike the WWE2K games either so why even bother creating an arena? If you wanted to create your own custom brand/show then it would make sense but there isn't going to be an option for that, you can't even create a PPV.

If you ask me, they should have probably axed Create An Arena and made improvements to the CAW since apparently CAW is going to feel limited so they really should have focused their efforts there and stuck with the default arenas. CAW is the most important thing out of all creation options in wrestling games, if you screw that up, no other creation features are gonna save it.

Why not? Creating an arena is fun and it's nice to have for your CaWs. Not to mention that if the game is very successful, maybe they take it a bit further in the next game and add something similar to universe mode?

Ok I gotta be the annoying correcting geek here - there wasn't any SD vs Raw branded game that had CAA since that was WWE 12 and WWE 12 also literally had universe mode, it was the second year the mode was a thing in the series.

Now that being said - OP is dumb as hell for thinking you NEED championships or universe mode to make CAA unique. Nah. I'm glad CAA is here simply for the variety of sets even if its like just basic ring editing or whatever if we can have some custom logo options or whatever then that's just a little bit more to make this game unique.

What's the point of anything in a video game? What you're really asking is, "Why should I, personally, predicated upon my own tastes and desires, value the inclusion of this feature, that I only view as relevant if I can integrate it into the context of designing my own shows, and playing through a broader multi-show system like Universe Mode?" Which is a question that answers itself, since it's entirely dependent on your own tastes and needs, not those of anyone else.

You just don't want to acknowledge that not everyone cares about or requires those things for customization to be enjoyable in and of itself, so instead you frame the question as, "Why does this feature matter at all to anyone?" thus projecting your own criteria onto everyone else whether they share them or not.
