The bizarre hatred for AEW is something I can't really understand. I think of that subreddit r/scjerk. Before AEW they directed their tantrums to NXT and New Japan. I looked in there about 2 weeks ago and now it's only AEW and wouldn't you know it, NXT and New Japan were awesome this whole time!

There's two types of fans, WWE fans and pro wrestling fans. Pro wrestling fans will usually watch as much as they want, including WWE. WWE fans think that company should be the only one that exists at all times.

I see people who seem to care more about more about "dunking" strangers online, like they're waiting for a company to slip up once to jump on it, just to say haha to would be fans of the other company. Doesn't sound like they actually enjoy watching wrestling if that's how they get their kicks.

If the game is stable and doesn't include legacy code bugs from multiple games ago and doesn't take forever to load once CAWs accumulate and doesn't crash and doesn't randomly fail to have happen in its career mode what cutscenes clearly showed should have happened such as a title changes hands and doesn't randomly wipe saves and doesn't include arbitrarily frustrating things like unlockable wrestlers that you can only use in one mode and (goes down exhaustive list...)

... then it already wins for me against the last (checks notes) three 2K games. I don't care about feature number or complexity. I can even tolerate some physics glitching and clipping. Just make the game generally stable and functional.
