The biggest issue I've read about is that it's super easy..

that most matches can be finished in under a minute with easy finishers. You have to not pin on purpose to have fun. If this is true, I'm out. BTW, I don't have friends to play against. Nobody likes me and I can't figure out why.

Well thankfully bots have different difficulties in the options. Also I saw Uno lose one match to a CPU Chris Jericho and the AI looked very competitive and played well against him.

I watched streamers last night playing and I only seen one guy lose his first match. Everybody else was putting on a show a bit then easily winning. I can't speak for different difficulties in this game, but I know back in the day of the older yukes games you could put the AI on legendary and still get easy pins.

It's a valid concern, maybe if the AI is truly easy even on the hardest difficulty, they can patch it later and make it more difficult.

The difficulty is weird in this game tbh. Sometimes the AI will just let you beat them up, and other times they won't have any chill and will completely destroy you.

This is basically what I said in another thread. It seems like you can win in a minute or two because you can just hit a sig or finisher and no one can kick out and everyone was like “GOOD!”

to clarify, i am partial to those kind of matches, but i NEVER wanted to deprive the fans of those matches that enjoy them.

i always push for variety. make more crowd of people happy. have it possible to make both kinds of matches. so all people are happy. adjusting difficulty, reversals, momentum, etc.

but its AEWs first game ever so i will give them a break. its gonna be fun.

2k have been making these games for 10 years and still barely know anything, this game is not gonna be annual and i can already tell its better than 2k in every way other than graphics

If anyone remembers back to the n64 games they were not the most difficult but one thing they were was fun. No idea why now everything is about being difficult , being the best online , having photo realistic graphics etc lol just have some fun and relax.

This would be a dealbreker for me. I enjoy letting people out of pins, and button mashing to escape pins/submissions, not these crap minigames "press up and x, now press down and Right Trigger", play simon says. I won't play that trash which is why I left WWE 2k games (that and chain wrestling). I want games that feel like wrestling - WWE Smackdown series, Smackdown vs RAW series (earlier games). Not these crappy minigames all over the place that disrupt the feel of wrestling.

Yukes got lazy and the current team who took over for WWE 2K are doing a decent job so far. 2K22 was pretty great, 2K23 was a downgrade. I think they have potential to make something amazing.

On the discord everyone is whining reversals are too difficult and they are getting beaten by the AI. Just shows you the vocal minority do not represent the entire playerbase.
