I do play in expeditionner difficulty (normal) so if you're on expert maybe it needs to be higher idk.
I only dodge and not parry.
Im at end of act 2 and levels vary from 40 - 48 the enemies can win but i can always irk out a win without build changes by just using correct order of abilities. Boss difficulty for me comes from excessive dodge/parry misses not stat issues.
(Also i beat axons)
One pictos can be worth approximately 200-500 stat points by the end of act 2 depending on whether you grabbed high-level ones early (e.g. you can get over 2000 HP and over 1300 defence from two pictos accessible within a few minutes of starting act 2, although the HP one costs 90k chroma and is probably better off delayed for a while).
One color of lumina is worth 1 lumina point, exactly the same as a level, and you get these by the hundreds throughout the game.
Levels pretty much do not matter in this game at all once you can learn the skills you want to be using. You get an extremely small HP and base damage bonus from a level. They matter more after you remove the damage cap, since they're the only way to scale damage other than leveling up weapons, but you can hit the damage cap extremely easily in act 2 off just throwing a few damage pictos into your build (or even act 1 for strong single hits).
