do people even play games anymore? am i missing something here?
this game has a strong start, and remains strong until the end of act one. everything post act 1 feels like an entirely different group of people worked on it, and NOT in a good way. from the start of act 2 to the "twist" in act 3 the game loses all steam and completely goes off the rails, so to speak.
less than half of the people who have played this game have even beaten act 1, and the game has been out for 3 weeks now. i am convinced 90% of players played the game for 2 hours, saw the opening cutscene, soyjacked, and then posted a positive review, never to play the game again.
this makes me wonder if when these.. non-gamers, to put it nicely, actually get to act 2 and 3 and see how far the game drops in quality, in both story and gameplay, will this games review score take a dip on steam? i believe it will.
this game to me is a classic case of a good idea, but the devs could not for the LIFE of them stick the landing, what you are left with is an incomprehensible story in act 3, with nonexistant balancing where you one shot literally everything in the game on even the hardest difficulty. either the devs forgot how numbers work and just let the players completely break the game, or they dont care and just wanted to pull people in for the first act so they couldnt refund. OR maybe they shouldve just delayed the game for a couple months and gave it some semblance of balance for the endgame.
i think this is a game with potential to be great, but with all the issues with the story and balance, and the plethora of bugs plaguing this game, i can barely even call it good anymore.

also they completely ruined maelle throughout the story and made me completely lose any and all interest in here character. another mary sue, think rey from star wars levels of pure BS. thanks for ruining my favorite character yall!! really appreciate it.

You are correct. People go through the game very slowly (and their suspension of disbelieve isn't broken in Act 2 so they are more generous towards the game) hence why the opinions are still all praise, altho that seems to be becoming less the case in recent days.

I disagree entirely and thought the narrative remained consistent throughout. it seems to me like you beat act one. soyjacked over a certain event and were never able to put your face back to normal so you made this post.

i miss when people actually debated instead of just posting passive aggressive low tier ragebait replies
OP just posted "you will never be a woman" on my profile LOL, that's hilarious considering the above comment

Thats ironic since you post nothing but insults and low level ragebait when someone does not agree with you. :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

This isn't accurate at all. The quality of the storytelling and narrative gets progressively worse.
