About the alleged Baguette weapon

It doesn't exist. I'm reading several guides on how to get a supposed baguette weapon for each character, which you get in NG+ and some other crap. No, it doesn't exist. There's only one video supposedly getting it, and it doesn't make sense. How could it be worth 1 festival token if you don't get any tokens until the gommage happens? Who makes this *** up?

The guide is claiming that you need to hold the tokens you get at the start all the way until NG+. That you need to have them in the inventory. It does seem a bit suspect as it means foregoing the items given for the tokens on the first run. Plus there is no videos of it in action.

Then that brings up this question: Are tokens considered a quest item in your inventory? If so, then they should be removed at the start of NG+. But if not, then it may be possible. And if real, you'd have to wait until NG+ #2 to get all 5 weapons assuming you spent them all already.

Assuming that it is, it would transfer as the guide suggests. But that's also a good point. You'd need to do it 2 times or more. Depending on if you spent the first 3.

Every special item disappears when you do NG+ so no, it can't be

This is not all that powerful on NG+. Esp since it means not having regular weapon passives that could increase damage dealt or provide some more unique benefit.
