No I wasn't one of the crying for nerf crowd in an Single Player game.
I doubt the complainers have so much pull that even the devs cave in on the demands.
Likely the anomaly of Stendhal's damage has to be tuned down for any possible future content in form of DLC's and such, so there is a equal challenge on all characters to overpower the enemy instead of relying on a one-trick character to nuke the opposition.
But where Bug fixes ?!
I love being OP in games after earning that. After completing the main story. Like ultimate weapons and summons in Final Fantasy or earning a rocket launcher in Resident Evil series but we are talking about accidentally one shotting the final boss and miss out on their conversation and moveset.
Too OP too early making any other move and other characters feel too weak.
I assume you aren't far enough into the game to understand yet. It was not fun.
if that's your idea of fun, play the game on story mode.
"Push X to automatically win without any effort or skill on your part." is not fun. It never will be fun. If it was fun games just wouldn't have combat at all. Games would just have you walk up to a monster, press the attack button, and win.
The most fun fights I have ever had in any games, were the ones that were close calls. Where skill and quick thinking were the difference between winning and losing.
So I ask you, why do you hate fun so much?
I’ve also done Maelle’s camp request quest and also one shotted that other boss heavily story related. Again, I’ve learnt about that weapon bug after the fact. I just liked how she starts in purple stance.
I wasn’t OP in ACT2. It was tough back then but suddenly I two shot or one shot bosses in ACT3. I’ve thought it was intentional and lore accurate.
