Thoughts on the story?
I wish this forum turns into an ellegant and educated discussion about the story. Hence, this forum contains spoilers .

Be advised.

Imo, there should never ever exist Verso . Like, really? The guy's been obliterated , man! As I'm halfway through the story, that just felt like the creaters got a bit afraid of or didn't know what to do about
losing the main character
.

Speaking of which, there's been a discussion on another forum about BLOKE CULTURE, which, at first, got me thinking that was just an internet troll...

But... By the time
Verso
showed up, that discussion suddenly started making more sense to me. And that person went from a troll to someone maybe worth listening.

I wanna hear your thoughts, ladies and gents!

Do you think this should be a female story?

Either way, what would you change about the story?

What did you like the most about the original one?

Cheers,

Sr. Coelho.

Keep playing and see how the story unfolds. It's too early to come to a conclusion, imo.

Verso is NOT Verso.

It already is, ya goof. Maelle's story is the emotional and thematic core of the entire narrative.

As for general comments on the story I was worried while playing that there would not be satisfying answers to my questions, but patience paid off.

Do you think this should be a female story? Bro, it IS a female story.
Honestly i was bummed because the only character I liked was verso, and the one i disliked the most was Maelle. So you can see how that is not ideal..
A mesmerizingly intricate storytelling up until its final moments, but then drops the ball hard on its very own plot just to make a point.

So that section is the only thing I'd personally change to be better.

you are too impatient and spoiling your experience by already discussing bits and pieces of a bigger picture that might look completly different to you once you reach the ending of the game
As others have so eloquently put it... "keep playing" ;-) Do not discuss the story before you have finished the game.

I don't even know what a female story is (the main writer of Expedition 33 is a female so), but if you did not absolutely finish the story you need to stop now or you will spoil the game for yourself.

I don't know. If that is the case why do we control Verso during the camp and relationship sections. If you ask me we should have controlled Maelle, not him.

Subversion of expectations? ;-)

Maybe, either way it was bad design. That aspect of the game would have had more value if it revolved around Maelle getting closer to everyone else.
