It already is, ya goof. Maelle's story is the emotional and thematic core of the entire narrative.
As for general comments on the story I was worried while playing that there would not be satisfying answers to my questions, but patience paid off.
So that section is the only thing I'd personally change to be better.
I don't know. If that is the case why do we control Verso during the camp and relationship sections. If you ask me we should have controlled Maelle, not him.
