Act 3 help

What is the recommended level for fighting Renoir? I don't want this fight to be easy since now we can bypass the 9999 limit and I'm well aware of how high the damage can scale in this game.

Also, I believe that beating Renoir is the end of main story, so is the world remains in Act 3 state or it switches to some kind of endgame. I want to get all achievements and, for example, reaching max relationship level only possible in Act 3. Is it possible to do this after final boss fight or it must be done beforehand? And is there any content that will be locked after I finish main story?

You can fight renoir and continue playing in the world later in different ways

I would suggest doing the final boss after defeating after beating the Paintress. I personally went into training arc to get myself to lvl 82 and create OP builds for each character expecting the game to scale. Well I one-shot the final boss

I fought them at 70-ish and I had to skip most of my turns to even see them do anything.
Honestly maybe do like Frozen Heart and only that.

When you beat the game, you go back to the title screen, and continuing will load you back into the endgame from before you went into the final area. Nothing else special unlocks.

The game is balanced in such a way that you can go directly into the finale. I was around level 65 at the time. There are some pretty nasty enemies leading up the final boss but you can just run past them.

As much as I think I'll do all the side content before, for the final boss I'm going to unequip all my lumina and take a weapon that is low level (keeping the skills). And after that I'll see to not spend an hour but not just the One shot either...

But I recognize from act 2. I should have built a team, purely defensive full defenses and healing. I focused on the chromatic bosses and followed their levels, while they are much harder than those of the story with equal progression...

I first focused on the "strongest" axion, ignoring the optional boss who would have weakened the boss. And yet besides the automatic action when she lost too much life (which one shot me, a few times while I learned the timing). I did not leave her any turns to play.

It's too much, I killed him after doing the relationship quests only in act 3 and I was like lvl 50 55 in expert. No op builds and lvl 19 weapons and it was as challenging as the other hardest story bosses. I'm now lvl 65-70 with lvl 23-25 weapons and I do WAY more damage
You get way more XP/upgrade stones in the 'post game' zones, if you do that before the last boss you'll trivialize it

Don´t explore to much and overlevel for the fight. That´s the mistake I made. I pretty much did everything in Act 3, including all superbosses except 1, so the fight was anticlimatic to say the least.
I second the suggestion to max relationship & then go for it, you should be fine.
