at which lvl did you kill Sprong?
Playing on normal.

Only optional boss in act2, I can't beat at lvl 45, story wise I just received the corral stone.

Mostly I can hold up until I fail to dodge his massive slamming "mark" attack.

PS: At the moment he has 2.5:1 attack ration to me.

I heal ~1.9k per round, with 4k health and still f* up.

TLTR:
maybe I should wait until I get dmg unlocker?

Beat him at LvL 50 but the level doesn't really matter due to the 9999 DPS limit.

Any boss can be beaten regardless of level simply by parrying, but he has 4mill HP so it takes a while therefore if you don't wish to spend 15+ minutes fighting him could always wait for the Painted Power pictos.

People have killed him before Act 3, so it's possible; just long. I did it immediately after I finished Act 2 at around level 50.

Around level 35, he gave me 4-5 level ups on defeat. Took around 30 minutes and 171 parries.

I've found that there might be a bug with the game where the sound indicator for attacks may be slightly delayed for some attacks. Like the eye laser, he starts off with 4 lasers and the sound in fine, but then it progresses to 6 lasers. The 6 laser version has that delayed sound which threw me off. Visually checking at what point in an animation you need to be pressing parry is more reliable in my experience.

yes that's true, I stole a 1k defence picto between those black hand monsters and ran away

Now I got him at least to 70% health and then he started to smash two times into the gnd with his marking skill, which I didn't really survive the second time.

Not good enough in regards of parry, dodge against Sprong, I'm okay, but also only ~65-75% of the time.. really depends on the attacks of an enemy, then I can parry them ~80% of the time.

Also the mouse cursor constantly disturbing while I play with controller sucks a little

okay, looked it up, thank you save me the enjoyment, this would break the game, or I had at least to switch to hardest difficulty, already doing too fine and story bosses are hardly a challenge.

Are you talking about the attack where he slams both hands into the ground at the same time. I don't think I've ever been hit by that one. The point in the animation to parry is when his arms start to move down, what I do is look at the elbow to see when it's moving down.

The combo where he swipes the ground one arm at a time has hit me plenty. The biggest problem I had was the 1st and 4th hit, but again I figured out the trick was to just look at the elbow for when it moves down.

Yes I was writing about the double fisted slam, elbow is a very good hint, only did this few times with other enemies where I focused on the hilt of the weapon and it worked very well.

After a while I'm nearly perfect dodge with the swishing attack.

Only this broad energy blast I can mostly parry all the time ~90%
dual fisting ~65-70% parry
laser only 25-50% with dodge
swishing 75% dodge

I need to start counting, not just focusing on visual or acoustic cues

He leveled me up to lvl 41,196 parries in 27:11, it is way more fun to do optional fights early and have some challenge in the game at some point, even on expert the game is a cakewalk and if i skip them now and do them later the entire game will be easy as opposed to some challenging stuff on the way at least

There are other optional bosses in act 2 you can kill.
Level 62
Around lvl 50 average. I decided to invest more in defense since I didnt want to waste too much time in case of failure so I could take 2~ hits from the arm swings without wiping.

The fight was fun, but between the exp and the Picos, its not worth doing early as it just makes you way too strong for regular content. (even if the Cheater Picos requires 40 points to equip)
