You actually have it easy
If you thought minigames and parrying was hard, then you never had to dodge lightning 200 times in a row.

But you did.... i remenber doing that for Lulu's weapon if im not mistaken. Worth it.
The chocobo race was a pain in the arse too.

Whomever designed that lighting dodging event should have to dodge actual lighting 200 times.
...DUDE.
To get Lulu's weapon, right?
I actually did that. On one of my Final Fantasy X playthroughs I made the effort to unlock all of the ultimate weapons. Lightning dodging was absolutely awful. I never did it again after that.

That was a weird time for Square in terms of god awful design choices. Remember the Zodiac Spear from FFXII? You needed to somehow find and NOT open 12 specific chests throughout the game or else you'd be locked out of getting the weapon.

Lol getting the Zodiac spear without a walkthrough would just be blind luck.

Impossible, really! Who in their right mind would just ignore treasure chests? I remember distinctly one area where there were simply some rows of chests and iirc one of them was one of the chests you needed to avoid opening. Absolutely ridiculous.

I remember that tiny spot of land that always dropped a lightning strike, and THANK god for that otherwise it would've been a real nightmare.

Good times, should I mention getting the true ending in X-2...

Thank god they rebalanced all that ♥♥♥♥ and based Zodiac Age off IZJS. No one needs to experience that nonsense lol

Yeah, but the Zodiac Spear isn't the weapon it once was.
