Nevron quest (endgame, minor spoiler)
Okay, I just got the achievement for helping all Nevron, but damn I really wish the game had manual save files.

So yeah, the thing is, the achievement is for completing every passive Nevron quest. We can either fight them or finish their request. However, the one at the Fountain checks whether we’ve killed any Nevron, and guess what, the one in the Flying Cemetery loses its purpose and asks us to kill it after the fight, saying that's its final purpose. So I thought that was what the quest intended us to do.

Turns out, that fails the quest for the Fountain Nevron. I still got the achievement, but after checking around about the Fountain Nevron’s quest, I found that if we complete every quest without killing any Nevron, we'll get 100 color of lumina. Yeah, that is a really good reward. The thing is, I did the Flying Cemetery Nevron quest a while ago, so I can't load an earlier save to do it differently and now I’m locked out of that sweet reward.

I got the achievement, and I’ll probably be fine without this reward (I'll just go for 100% and not power build for some crazy high damage), but it’s kind of a letdown that I can fail a quest even when it feels like I'm doing the "right" thing.

Thanks for this post. Hopefully, losing all that lumina won't be too detrimental, it's just that dude with the mine really looked like he wanted beef. :fatanellie:
i didnt kill the chalier at flying cemetery and didnt unlock the achievement... am i suppose to do it in ng+ and re do all the quest?
i'm not there yet but also not sure what to do then... some people say to always do what they want and to kill that guy if he asks to but missing out on the lumina is quite bothersome, maybe you can snag them and then go back to killing him or all of them? if it's just 100 lumina that's technically not a problem since you can just farm them later
Ok i did it... you are not obligate to kill him, important thing is to come back and see what next in the same position

There are ways to farm infinite Color of Lumina in the end game, but only 1-2 per fight, so it's still worth it to grab the 100 you get from this quest to make your life easier
so is there an order to get the 100 colour in the fountain and the auto powerful from the cemetery one in the same playthrough? which of the 2 do you ahve to speak to first?

Oh, did you still get pictos from it like when you kill it (iirc it's auto powerful)?

In my current run, I did their requests and never bother trying to kill them after. I went to Chalier first, fight it and do as it ask, so I got its pictos. Then I went to Blanche and it listed that I kill 1 of 9 nevron (it acknowledge that I help them but still choose to kill some and so it has no choice but to fight me).
If the other person hinted is true (that we don't have to kill Chalier), maybe that's the way to both get Chalier's pictos and 100 lumina.

I also see some people saying they fight some nevron and still get 100 lumina, but I think they just misremember it since if we fight Blanche, we'll get only 10 lumina and some might see it as 100.

Turns out even after I miss this 100 lumina, I still have enough to make broken build on Maelle (enough to beat secret boss without it taking any turn; I also divided lumina evenly between every character and the count when I beat that boss is around 200-210 on each character), and I never have to farm for it.

I have killed Nevron in Flying Cemetery and was able to get 100 color of lumina.

Have you killed Nevron, who is in the ruins of the old city, demanding the wooden planks?
Or a dance teacher in the snowy mountains.

Nope. Apart from Chalier I didn't kill any of them. But again, Blanche explicitly told me I kill 1 of 9 nevrons I helped, the number is consistent with those I help before talking to Blanche; (1) light the lamp, (2) find bomb balloon, (3) bourgeon skin, (4) find 3 crystals, (5) parry-dodge notes guy, (6) wooden plank maze, (7) donation fountain, (8) dance teacher, and (9) Chalier. The only one I fight is Chalier so I'm positive it's from that.

Btw, by 'killed' you mean winning the battle after choosing Chalier's weapon, or after that fight when it ask you to kill it, you choose to do it. I think I saw some people mentioned that it'll kill itself if we choose not to (I think the option to that is asking why didn't it just find new purpose, it'll then mad at us for not respect its wish), then leave the area or rest, and return to see it corpse.
Ok i will get the pictos then and just farm lumina. I rather complete my collection than get a bunch of an infinite ressource.
I went to the Fountain before the Cemetary, and it gave me the 100 color of lumina.
Completed the Cemetary quest afterwards (honored his wish) and the one at the Fountain still has the same ending dialogue.
