What did you learn about the game that could be helpful for others?
Whatever comes to your mind.

I’m first:

- level up hp only at first. Something like lvl30-40 of HP only. The game becomes multiple times easier at the beginning if you focus on hp only.

- use your items. They are flasks that regenerate at bonfires like in souls games.

- Fire especially is OP early on.

- use your gun. Many enemies can be killed by guns only in a single turn before they make a single move. Most enemies have a hidden weak spot and it’s not always glowing (head or a mine that looks like a baloon).

- learn heal spells asap. With lots of HP you can miss every dodge/parry, heal and still beat early bosses first try.

- start from doing dodges with new enemies and bosses. Switch to parry after you learn how to dodge. It makes first encounters much easier.

Study enemies and attacks for a cue that works for you when doing parries.

Advice. There's no plural.
Make sure you have at least one attack of each element unlocked and equipped for Lune ASAP.
Pay attention to elemental damage of weapons when equipping them, as it may neuter your characters (Gustave when not using his lightning limit break, adopts the element of his sword for ALL his attack skills including the gun which if you run into enemies immune to the particular element makes him irrelevant to the fight).
Once you unlock the ability to upgrade weapons, LEAVE FOR CAMP AND DO SO.

Finally, almost every enemy attack has a distinct sound cue in it which is when you should be hitting the dodge/parry button to land a perfect dodge/parry. Eat a few strikes to the face while listening intently, you'll eventually be able to tell the empty flourishes from actual dangerous strikes.
Read the the tool tips. I know reading is foreign to your average brain rot gamer nowadays.
+50% after free aim and + 50% Base attacks PICTOS are also OP
Any advice on stats outside of HP? Does anyone know how many stats we can max by end game?
You can ignore HP and max Defence. You should also pay attention that for various characters, OTHER stats also boosts HP or Defence or Attack.

There's a Pictos for 50\50 chance of 50% damage or 200% damage for each attack. Fun times.

I learned that a lot of enemies that will use a ranged attack will make a sound cue right before the attack. It's helped me a lot.
Change weapons before a fight as that will trigger an autosave.
One thing I just noticed and I'm not sure how it works as maybe I missed a help/in-game guide on this but, seems like weapons randomly level up, outside of leveling them up yourself? Just had 2 weapons go up in levels randomly (seemingly)
Manual Save or rather autosave on demand

Change any skin, then game will autosave

Early game put 10 in vitality or/and might focus on it weapon scaling early is weak

If you're confident with your parries, go the glass cannon build. Maelle all points in might with all the last stand pictos, the other 2 doesn't matter, give them the 'die on first turn' and 'do damage on death'.

Maelle is such an odd character and can fill both spectrums. You can jack her up with defense and vit and spam guard up / egide / mezzo forte for your team and never touch parry or dodge again.

Or you can equip the gestral fight club pictos on her and solo the entire game oneshotting everything. (You can just remove everyone else from your party).

Can you even make glass cannon in the first 1/3 or half the game? Or just glass without cannon?

It feels like adding stats to damage barely do anything. It’s like 10% damage vs 100% more HP.
