Red Screen during cinematics

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I have tried so many things but none of them has worked so far

I've had crashes from the start, mainly at the beginning or end of a cinematic. I've tried several things that don't solve anything, and now I get the red screen every time I play a cinematic. It is possible to skip it and the menu for doing so is normally displayed over the red screen. But I can't remove the red screen afterwards.

Game crashes when departing after the speech, so I tried switching to dx11 and then what I get is this red screen on cinematics...

They need to fix this..

I was able to solve this problem by reinstalling Windows. Previously, there was version 1809. I installed 22H2 - the problem disappeared.

yes, this method is working. I updated windows to the latest version - and everything became as it should be

I ended up restoring to the default dx12 files and using dx12. What fixed it was installing optimization mods that tweak the engine.ini of RE5 to better values that also improve performance and visuals.

Apparently the devs left alot of RE5 values on default and it is not working great. Wonder why modders had to be the ones to fix this...
