Increase View Distance and LOD - Engine.ini fix
For some reason the default view distance is so bad with lots of pop ins. There is no view distance option in the game, so here is how to fix it (Hopefully this gets fixed).

Go to "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Sandfall\Saved\Config\Windows"
Make a file called "Engine.ini"
Open it and paste the following:

[/script/engine.renderersettings]
r.ViewDistanceScale=5
r.SkeletalMeshLODBias=-2
r.StaticMeshLODDistanceScale=0.25
Save, right click the file, select "Properties" and set it to "Read-Only"

You can also disable the blurry fog by adding (both lines or just one, seems the same)

r.fog=0
r.VolumetricFog=0

Not sure if you can even reduce or just enable/disable it altogether, I won't mind a *bit* of fog, but that's way too much.

Thanks for this, it really makes a difference, as soon as I got to that open area I could really see how low the render distance was with the grass.
making this file the game just deletes it.
Thanks, that is exactly what I was looking for, I added these lines to the performance tweaked engine.ini I got off NexusMods.

did you marked it as read only? Works fine for me so far, even after closing game its still there
Performance hit?
Thanks for this. What settings can I adjust to fix the dithering hair though?

You have to set the file to read-only.
No, the FOV is great by default, changing will break the immersion. Better make a normal FOV on the global map, cause i dont understand why need this action camera from the sky.

It's LOD, not FOV.
And even then you're wrong.
