It’s weird in this game as you use a different button to pause the cinematics. It’s the action/confirm button. X for me on a ps5 controller.

I see, thanks, it's an odd button for pausing but that's fine now that I know it's there.

I was in customer call and I couldn't hear the entire dialogue and it kinda bothered me.

Anyone else having the issue that this pause feature works on in-engine cutscenes, but when using it on cinematic (pr-rendered video) cutscenes the video stays frozen when I try to resume.
I've only tried it on Steam Deck so far. Will try how this behaves on my Windows PC when I return home from traveling.
