I was able to beat him after 30 mins or so of grinding. I'm playing on hard still on chapter one. Once you get used to the riposte timing you can slowly chip away his armor. There's also some tricks on to stunlock enemies with the assist attacks and if you have enough consumables to restore energy you can infinitely stunlock enemies in theory.

Did it in first try. He has fairly long wind up animations with few punches easy to riposte. The only issue is his ridiculous HP bar and shields. Honestly quite dull, devs shouldve taken few notes from Team Ninja to how to make boss fights. HP doesnt equal difficulty.

I was so stupid - and barely survived. Spoiler: when we are going badly, in the middle of the fight Saber suggests to back off. We can listen to her ( or rather him) or fight on. I disobeyed and barely finished the fight using many healing items. Even on the lowest difficulty level it looks like a train fight - it's hard and probably without a grid you can't do it although you can try.

He's easy once you know his moves, and quite dull because you do chip damage on his shield so it takes a while to whittle down his HP.

It's a long but not particularly hard fight, outside of how punishing things can be. Keep consumables handy. You can actually heal mid grab animation if he gets you -- top yourself off to avoid being oneshot, for instance.

After I beat him in my second round of the game, the game just stuck with berserker kneel on the ground and would not proceed, pretty sure its a bug but I can't solve it. Anyone has any idea of how to solve this bug ?

Good evening, I did as well....and got humbled quickly.

grinded(is that a word? xD) an extra level before i tried again. Beserker lives on grappler rules, respect the grab or perish!

I've had this bug, it seems to be 100% linked to that berserker event that will actually soft lock you in other event fights too. You can fix it by restarting the game.

i felt he was pretty easy thou i just ran around and did small hits and just ran far away he kept grabbing saber thou LUL

Just beat him on Sword Expert/Hard not that long ago. Liked the fight, despite him being utterly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you start during Chapter 1. Best option is to ease the pain is to progress the story and unlock Wind Stance first for a... comparatively easier time.

That said, I had a MUCH harder time fighting Rogue Archer/Arjuna. These servant fights are no joke, especially if you don't explore and upgrade regularly!

Man, who thought this fight was fun? Berserker isn't strong, he's borderline OP and, for some dumb reason, they thought it was a good idea to give you this quest immediately into CH1?? Also, plot armor at it's finest. We literally destroy this guy right before this, yet now he's an iron wall of death

I mean, come on.... We can do better bosses than this these days

I made sure to beat him before the digression disappeared, but when I first gave a go at it... it was humbling. I thought I was that guy but I wasn't, at least not yet.
