Protagonist Gender

That's not the problem at all.
They could have let us customize the Master and maybe the servant with premade classes, weapons and animations like in DYNASTY WARRIORS 8 Empires

On the other side we don't know much of the game yet, however I fear that we cannot control the other servants.

Better mute than generic anime protagonist number 2,057 I'd say, which is all the Fate protags anyway. I'd at least like a female option for the main character like in Extella and Grand Order, it's not like these games are known for being accurate with the portrayal of historycal characters, why not a samurai girl protag for people who'd identify with one better?

I'm more saying for the sake of people who might not buy the game cause the generic protagonist is only one gender. If the protagonist is generic anyway, there's not really a point to them being specifically male or female. You'd probably appeal to a wider group of people.

that is true but this is different its not like with the hakunos and gudas they are original characters but iori is a actual real thing and he is naturally male i just dont see the need since this game seems to want to follow it very historically correct even with a male musashi being his father..although dead

I get what you're saying, but isn't Fate kind of known for massive historical inaccuracies or at least gender-bending character for nothing but extra waifu points? Nobunaga certainly wasn't a woman, but she is in Fate, it's not beyond them to do something like that and actually they do it very often.

I'm pretty sure Oda Nobunaga was born male and remained male in identity throught his life though. I'm not saying it's bad they changed Nobunaga or Arthur or whoever, I just don't see why that can't apply to this character like it does the others.
