Why is this game unavailable in my store/region?

Pretty sure it's not since game stores offer copies of all the series' games for consoles

It's just steam I think

Also I already played it on console previously and it wasn't that bad tbh, downpoor and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ memories were much worse. I just want to play it again on my PC (my steam account is essentially just a stockpile of games I played on the console)

It's not "just steam". Steam follows region lock rules imposed by the publisher. So it's just Konami.

As you can see, it's not sold in a lot of regions, not just Asia.

That's really annoying to know, I would like to hear their reasoning atleast. And the reasoning for not porting the rest of SH right now to steam (I mean, we all know that it will inevitably happen sooner or later, but why don't they do it now)

its not available in my country either but i bought a key for it on g2a and there it said its a global key and it worked just downloaded it

Uhm.... I think we can all be pretty sure that porting the rest of the franchise to steam will never happen, unless Konami sells the rights
