So I decide to research some balling Kirovs to do some nasty arse damage, while building some AA Gargars to make the LC Althenas leave muh orbital cannon alone. But this damn scientist man is nicking 10k of my metal as soon as I use it and soon enough my Migs run out of places to mine metal, and then I'm flat out of metal to harvest. SO I make my last delivery of metuhl to Science Face who then says "kay we gonn shoot this thing up inna sky go for a bit blow up all dem moon women kthnxbai" and then I'm left with selling all my turrets and walls to make more tanks and bombers etc, and I send this massive force to the first LC outpost directly North West of us.
All of my research is rendered useless because there's nothing to defend against the LC using the sonic waves and mind ♥♥♥♥ beams and Telsa cannons that leave my tanks driverless, immobilised or driving around in circles, blocking up the pass and leaving the Athenas to pick on the tanks further down. In short, the attack failed horribly.
And THEN I send some Migs out to scout and I see that there are not one, two or three but FIVE whole LC Outposts stocked with Sahnic Cannons and Mind ♥♥♥♥ Lasers, and then there's me with a beaten Tank group, no metal, Falkner being all stoic, and no chance of finishing the mission.
How the hell are you meant to do this?

he takes 10k metal as soon as you accumulate it, if you keep from building and just use old AA units, you can hold them off untill the cannon finishes, as sson as it finishes the LC stop being able to build, so if your quick with your gathering, their bases will not be in working order and be easy to crush, you can fight them at your leisure. but the key is to use your weapons (you can even take Lances rocket launcher if you want) to fend off the early athenas and put all of yor resources into building your economy. and the cannon
