Was working, now crashing on mission start in campaign.
Some missions not loading on OSX Sierra. Plz fix!

Mission: revolt on Titan. Еhe game freezes when loading mission...

how much RAM has you mac? and what graphic card?
RAM - 8Gb, Video - Intel HD Graphics 6000.

The game starts and runs fine, but when you load the save and start next mission, the game freezes.

Intel HD graphics is not supported. Only nVidia and AMD. it may happen that a map is to big or has too many polygons and Intel HD chipset cannot handle it.
Game currently crashes on load, pop-up states "An error has occurred while initializing Direct3D. Insufficient graphic card properties or configuration / driver problems could be causing this. Try running the game in safe mode (-safemode execution parameter).

Running with that parameters does not change this behaviour.

I have a mid 2012 retina macbook pro, 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, GeForce GT 650M 1GB graphics. Running High Sierra.

It is possible that the Mac version of Earth 2160 is not running under High Sierra. Apple is releasing new OS versions very often and it seems like they do not take care about any backward compatibility. For us that means that we have to recompile and modify all Mac versions of our games released in the last 20 years every few months. We will evaluate, if this is still commercially reasonable. Maybe it makes more sense that we will not support Mac OSX in the future.

Of course I can undertand that. But maybe this New Apple File System APFS is the Problem. Jack Orlando as example worked FINE with Sierra, but does not Start with High Sierra. Maybe the Problem could be Steam itself, which is still running with 32Bit and so it´s offical not compatible with High Sierra. High Sierra demands 64Bit Apps like iOS 11.

Maybe you are right. Fact is, that most of our Wine ported older games do not run anymore. Now we need to search for the reason and fix it. This costs time and money, because there are around 30 products with this problem. If we assign one programmer it may take 6 months.

Of course I understand this. Apple release one time a year always an new Update for mac os and this is cool, but it makes me always afraid that my beloved Games does not run. Jack Orlando is my favorite. I played it since this Game was available and even I´m 43 now, I love to play this Game. It´s so amazing. Thank you, that you keep fighting with it.
Mac port working on EI Capitan OS X?!?

We did not test it with El Capitan.
Can you please mark the game as non-functional on OSX? You are still selling it as a Mac game in steam, yet you make excuses about how hard it is to actually support it.
