I think it is just a generic key to be able to (( fill out the application )) and send to Topware. Topware should then send another code and you should be good to go. Try mine if yours does not work. I had to do this everytime I did a new install and the codes generated always seem to be the same.. Games very, very old keep that in mind.
Anyway I found the culprit, you see I was using window 7 profesional and the regional area is set to japan.
now as I try the first time I was alt tabbing to take a peek at the key and tab back, I enter using the caps letters,
somehow it create oddities with the sections of the entry point for some reason or another.
After I just use the safe mode and have written the key on a piece of paper, I then write it again this time I was not using alt tab to goes back and forth. And this time I didn't use caps just normal letters.
and turn out it work fine.
I discover issues as well when creating save name, the font, of the window japanesse letters starts to show up when I write the name of the save game.
so I just use the numbers or the pre default save name that is created.
Anyway it work fine now thanks guys for the reply.
I manage to enter the key using the original key that was given to me when I bought the game via steam.
Just had to do it via safe mode, doesn't do alt tabbing and use lower key case not caps. and it should go smoothly.
