Timed slashing directional attack puzzle
I'm in the center right area of the game (dark blue area) and there's this puzzle where you use your sword attack to perform three slash attacks. I don't know what the game expects me to do after that. It just fails me automatically. I kept thinking there was a skill I was missing or something but I haven't found anything yet.. I'd like to know what I'm missing here.

Wow. That... wow. See, knowing that, I went back and got it on my like, fifth try. And that just makes me more annoyed because I had no idea all the other dozens of attempts that I wasn't doing it perfectly and I thought I was missing something. That's definitely something that bothers me with this game is that it can be really hard to tell why the game doesn't think you hit the button perfectly for certain things.

Regardless, thanks for telling me. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have gone back and tried for quite a while.

If uou are talking about this[worldless.wiki], it's four slashes, not 3
First area, right? Across from some platforms? Yeah that one is annoying.

There is a trick to it: Only the last attack (the third one) matters. You need to land that one perfectly. Then remember to attack a fourth time, then absorb it.
It's supposed to "teach" you that you can turn a 3-hit combo into a 4-hit combo, but I never figured it out from that (even though I beat that enemy). I didn't realize what was happening until I read the Steam Guide for the game.

What the devs don't realize is that in fast action games like this, a player can't process the overwhelming amount of sensory input (animations, particles, shapes, colors, sounds, damage applied, absorption applied, etc) in such a small amount of time. It seems intuitive to the designers because they already know what to look for ("but we give you all these clues!"). But when you don't know what you're looking for, you can't learn. What's worse is that the player doesn't know that they don't know. i.e. You don't know that you *should* be looking to learn that there's a secret 4-hit combo in the game.

I hope they're better about this in their next game.
I beat half of the enemies on map and still cant beat this mfer after 100+ attempts. This is bug or sth?
I tried another 50. Its impossible.

It teaches you that at the Skill Tree, the enemy just puts the concept of Cancels into practice

Idk, I really liked all the tutorial challanges, didn't find them annoying at all. Not being able to die makes the combat in general very enjoyable IMO, if you fail, you just jump back in, no punishment or gatekeeping. This makes it easy to improve.
