I'm pretty surprised there's no ending cutscene or epilogue, just a credits roll and back to title page. Made me feel a little sad considering I had gotten attached to the characters and wanted to see more, or at least what's going to happen to Neru after her job is done....

Is this game a deconstruction/parody/satire etc. of JRPGs/anime etc.? SImiliar to Moon (1997), Undertale or Doki Doki literature club? I played the first part of the demo and it seemed to have "Are we the baddies" vibes to it but I could be wrong.

Thorns seems to be a beneficial status effect (reflect 30% damage taken or defense +5%), so why is it considered a debuff? In terms of gameplay there isn't too much distinction between buffs and debuffs, except for the fact that buffs can be shared via the maiden mace whereas debuffs give +10% int with the tome of curses. So thorns being a debuff isn't necessarily a bad thing, just a little weird....

I can barely get past the first half of the enemies playing on hard in this fight. The chest is tucked away in the very bottom right corner of the fight, far, far away from where I started with a ton of enemies between. How is this even possible? I guess I better switch to Normal difficulty, but I can't believe someone could get this chest on hard difficulty going to Ashguard as their first area. My dudes are level 12 I think....
