Devlog #1 – We Have a Release Date!

Rise Up, Underlings! We’ve got some big news to share. We can finally announce the official release date for Underling Uprising. After years of sweat, literal punches (and re-watching all our favorite cartoons), this beat 'em up (a tribute to classic arcades with a modern twist) is finally ready for action. From the team that brought you Ninja Chowdown: Glaze of Glory (LINK)

Mark your calendars for May 14th.

Time flies, so now is the moment to gather up to three friends to take on hordes of evil minions in co-op multiplayer. High octane action, a healthy dose of humor, and "hyper vitaminized" brawling await you very soon. Best of all? No quarters required!

[FEEDBACK] Camera is a bit much... and some other tweaks.

Nice game, music is a bit loud and there's no pause button on controller. here's a few things i noticed in the short demo. 1. controllers register being even slightly of from straight to be diagonal, so your character swerves all over the place. 2. the camera following the character makes it hard to focus and is a little disorienting. 3. grab seems to instantly throw enemies? (may be controller related)...

Ruined by the ghost.

Played the demo earlier today. Like it, a lot - however the girl character, my preferred, is pretty much ruined, for me. Her conjoined ghost companion is in the way. I don't like that. I don't like how when she blocks and puts her cute arms up, that silly ghost gets in the way - literally and visually, hiding part of the girl's arms. ..and she's in front of her blocking the view, etc. Nah, boooooo!!! The ghost is also her special move. Pffffftttt. Nah, from what could have been a nice, cute, feisty girl, w...

DEMO FEEDBACK

First... Music, visuals, movement, attacking and overall presentation is great. Definitely a nice package at the core and seems like it'll be a lotta fun. Criticism... 1. Pause menu w/audio sliders: Should go without saying. 2. Sound effects: Attacking sounds like a kick drum. Doesn't fit by any means with something like a punch attack (or ANY attack for that matter). A standard "punch" type sound is all you need (no need to fix what ain't broke). 3. Git Gud? Please make it say something else (a sim...
