Dualsense features missing
Has anyone else noticed that almost all the dualsense features from the PS5 version are missing? The main one is that each weapon has the exact same trigger feedback effect. Doesn't matter the weapon there's always a single click on the first fire with nothing else. On PS5, most weapons have some additional feedback like the blaster pistol kicking back each time it shoots or others having some resistance while they charge up. The vibration also just seems to be standard.

Yea the features themselves work they just have a very limited set of reactions. So every gun has the exact same trigger click/feedback on the initial pull and nothing else. PS5 has unique ones for what feels like every gun in the game. I have my controller wired and it shows up as dualsense in game. Just wondering if anything else has noticed this. I'll double check the troubleshooting steps though.

It is working in full functionality. You just have to turn off steam input and connect the dualsense via cable.

Try disabling Steam Input: right click the game in Steam, select Properties, choose Controller and select Disable Steam Input.

That's how my controller is connected. It's wired and I have steam input disabled. The trigger feedback does work but every gun is the same. Could you help me with a test? If you hold down and shoot the blast pistol or lighting gun, does the trigger continue to kick up with each shot fired while you're holding the trigger down? or does it just happen the first time you shoot?

Replying to confirm that this is a known issue. Found a list of open problems with the game and this is documented here:

Section:
Haptic feedback is weaker on PC than on PS5 when using wired DualSense controller
This was tested by @MonsterAb1 using a wired DualSense controller.

Had this issue too, it was caused by Steam for me. Had to get into the controller profile for this game and disable Steam's profile completely so that the game would take over properly.
