Motordoom is a combination of Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Rouge-lite survivor games i.e., Vampire survivors. In the pursuit of this mash-up, it misses the mark in some areas.

On the THPS side of things, there's a campaign with THPS objectives (High scores, collect motor etc.) within a certain time limit. This is fun, however a few mechanics are missing that would make the experience smoother overall.
Recommendations:
Spine transfers and reverts and expanding the trick list.
More achievements, as I've collected all within 3 hours of playing.

Issues on this side of things:
Pressing acceleration even if your character is looking in the opposite direction, flips them around and they tend to fly off ledges etc. This is very annoying when trying to achieve all objectives.
Wall riding works 10% of the time and feels bad.
The manual/wheelie meter is red, often getting obscured by the large amounts of blood and gore.
The enemies serve no real purpose in this mode, other than being in the way.
Although there are a handful of characters, they all sound the same (motorbike) even if some are on sleds or tricycles.

On the survivors side of things:
Often when landing a large trick, cards would pile up (even up to 30) where you have to sit and select each one while the game says "Demonic offering" in an annoying voice.
There are not too many different and unique cards, making endless mode quite redundant.
There are only a handful of bosses and some stand and do nothing. Multiplying the bosses in endless mode to spike the difficulty seems a bit lazy.
There is little variation in enemies (not visually) but functionally. They all just tend to hover in your general direction.

On a positive note, what I liked:
Great stylistic art style.
Interesting and visually unique characters.
Well designed worlds (for the most part) with genuinely fun lines to build large combos.
It's own sound track that I believe thrash metal fans may enjoy (even if it's not for me).
Easy to run and great performance even on lower systems.
Very fun game play and a good recreation of the feel of THPS (when it works).
Caring developers who respond to feedback in their Discord server.

Why I can't recommend it AS OF NOW:
As of now, the game is incredibly short. You can finish the game and all it's objectives within 2 hours if you've played a THPS game before. For early access, it's understandable, but you'll be left wanting more.

A neat idea mixing both genre but can be janky sometimes, atleast you get to kill monsters with style !
