If I understood correctly they can also be replaced by building train/truck lines over them?
If I could make a suggestion, highlight them a bit more similar to the first founding hexagon of the cities so they stand a bit more out when scanning the planet.
I invested about 1 hour to scan an empty whole planet, I only found 2/3.

The idea of those achievements are not to search for them, but to encounter those Easter eggs randomly. I would have set the achievement as hidden but it doesn't seem possible to do that in Steamworks
I understand thats kind an easteregg still furstrating though to not be able to 100% complete the game in my steam profile. ^^
I will try to find my last one as I try to cover the planet with city. the empty spots should be visible :D
