Good Old Games (GoG) is no longer about just good old games. They also sell - GASP!! - (are you ready?) a plethora of newer games.
Of course not, then they would be GG, and nobody takes that seriously anymore.
They still sell old games, right along side of new games, and some of the games are even good, besides being old - and new. :-)
I'm not sure why you consider GoG trashy, but - to each his (or her) own. I like it myself, along with Steam. Epic is one I don't care for.
If a game is sold on both GoG and Steam, I typically buy from GoG for that very reason.
Kind of like the good old days of buying a cd at a store. :-)
