Not that I would use it -- I'm funny that way. For me half the fun of a game is wrangling the mechanics out of it -- I'm playing Disgea 2 with no manual / guide for example. and having a blast.
Will I have the best score / be the best min/maxxer around? Hell no, but I'm having fun on my own terms.
I have tried many ways to find the best way.

Here's a couple of designs for factory parks I came up with, if these help give you any ideas. You can easily turn that polymer factory park into a dual input / single output (or single input / dual output) park by adding a second loading area for the second resource on the other side. And the atmosphere extractors layout is suitable for anything with no input / dual output (drills, atmosphere extractors), or dual input / no output (greenhouse gas spewers).
I don't claim this is "the best," just what I've liked using.
Oh forgot another little question / annoyance I can’t quite figure out. Maybe I need a guide. Lol. Do we lose the resources if say we delete a depot with resources on it? Or demo a truck route with trucks on it with resources on board? Or a facility midway through building. I assume so. Also so annoying when you realise you built 589 extractors and no way to get those resources back. Enjoy peeps!
Currently yeah, I think the resources go poof. Dev said he wants to fix that, however.

"I am very, very smart, and you guys are very, very dumb."
Thank you for reminding us how smart you are. We (people hoping for a guide) appreciate being insulted.
[Just to be clear, the above is sarcasm, your comment is either insulting, or trolling.]
I do like the sense of journey.... maybe do both? I grew the other cities and it seemed to sort of fix the weird levelling issue.
You'll feel what you want to feel to justify your outrage, doesn't change the fact that I still don't know why people are having issues with easy to understand, self explanatory mechanics.
"I don't like using guides therefore they shouldn't exist."
lmao
