Dealing with water
Once you get the world warmed up, water starts to show up. Honestly I think we need to have the game literally stop and warn the player when we are 1 degree off from having liquid water form. The other thing we need is a height map so we can know where the water is going to show up, but that is already a suggestion the devs have taken into account.

What I would also like to suggest is adding a feature to pumping stations where they can be placed in water, but if they are fully submerged then instead of making water they will only work to lower the local water level until they are no longer submerged. This would let us reclaim our rich ore patches that get lost to flooding.

i know the problem, i've planned both an overlay to show where there is risk of future water, and to make pumps removing water (and pumps in dam walls)

Sounds good, please dont forget dams with passage ways for trains/trucks or bridges
