Excess Materials - Oxygen & Steel

Having a huge pile-up issue with oxygen and steel. I'm needing a lot more carbon later in the game and recycling the metal waste is compounding piles of steel.

What do you do with these resources? I've tried to pump more into cities, but even they're turning oxygen away!

you have to use the recycling waste in priority, do reinforced concrete with yoru steel and produce less of it from new exacted iron

About carbon, i don't understand well what do you mean. For info an atm. extractor can produce only carbon or only o2, just do not pay attention to the resource you don't need

Oh really! That's a helpful insight, I thought the extractor stopped if one of the outputs was full!

I didn't realize this either and had vast fields of O2 depots

my issue late game was a huge surplus of Aluminum bars. as there only real sink is Hightech parts. So i just built a depot graveyard until demand for hightech kicked back in again.
Id love to have extra steel once the late game comes round

I completely misunderstood those messages in the extractors, also the ice extractor.
I thought they were warnings that I should make sure the outputs weren't full.

Also the red text saying that output is full feels like a warning.

Good to know that it's easier.

Thank you for your reply. I tried to scour the internet for discussions/forums lol, but resulted going here. So far so good man, I'm interested to see how you're going to differentiate from DSP and Factorio!
