Just finished the game and got to the scene room. I flipped the lever but I don't seem to have noticed a difference. What did I miss?

Autobattler somehow makes the game slower than actually playing the combats, sometimes is faster turning off and fighting enemies than having the autobattler active. Also Cant switch between on and off in the middle of a battle, So if I accidentaly forget to turn it off in a boss battle I just close the game and open the save again, Is that or waiting an eternity because how it works the autobattler. Make a fast combat option, I dont wanna put cheat engine to speedup the game so I dont have to see the same...
