Quest Drop Nerf? Egg drops

Has anyone else noticed that egg drops are now a lot more rarer? don't think I've seen an egg drop in the last 30 chests I've opened.

Don´t know about nerf as I´m new to the game, but feels it´s a very rare resource for sure. Specially as you really don´t wanna put a pet on with less than 2 active abilities or you just feel like you´re not really getting anything out of having it on beside ofc getting some pet bond.

There has been no change to the quest reward drop rates since the v6.0.0 update

Also, i want to add... it doesnt really matter, you will probably buy eggs with Amber in time

now i no longer need to do so and i got like 40 to 60 eggs during every event. im saying the game is built to make eggs really ... rare at the start, at the end you dont need em or it will be easy to buy em once every Season (3 months)

you will always have no enough eggs until you are maxed out, almost... so just be patient and use the Amber generating pets as much as you can.

i'd strongly recommend against buying eggs with amber, long term the legendary equipment much more worth.

Gato I take it he´s already got that maxed :D Personally I get why and how that works and mine wasn´t a complain on that part ( other things I´m no fan off, but hey can´t make everybody happy :D ). My biggest downside really with pets are to often you get a 1 or 2 star pet that if you have it basicly gives no feathers and if you don´t still are rather useless until a bare min. of 4 star for 2 abilities. Other part that´s weird for me as a new player is that 8 pets are locked behind a wall of having to own the shuriken vortex even though those pets gives no bonus to that skill. So atm I have 2 pets I can get out of 10 missing so kinda in a hurry to get that skill so eggs don´t deliver so many duplicates while still having so many locked :D That´s brings it back to eggs ain´t many at this point for me :D But in time I will get there and get what I need I´m sure.

I would like to note I do have 4.8k hours already invested in this game so I'm not new here. My problem is now I cant finish the holiday tasks without needing to buy eggs with ember. to reach 40 eggs opened. I used to complete it comfortably, but since this patch I keep running out of eggs.

I second this. I have had to use amber to buy eggs to reach the goal of 40 eggs. I think some thing was adjusted from the latest update.

That's weird, I've been playing for a while (almost 3 years give or take) and I don't remember buying eggs ever, I'm pretty sure the number of eggs i own is constantly going up. The only thing I'm careful about is not getting all the tasks completed every week. sometimes is not worth it and this week is a perfect example. I don't think i'm being lucky, it feels like it self sustain easily. what am I missing?

This was me also. But now, I don't know. hence this post, apparently from the DEV it's an RNG issue from opening 30 cases. I just got 2 eggs recently. But from 38 cases? I don't know. Perhaps its a holiday event issue. No longer 12 eggs at 25/25. and more 1200 amber? Speculations of course.

as i've seen so far from last year it is more of how big the event is the reward is defined so it has a change and isnt a constant of 1.2k amber yk.

i'd just recommend saving out on eggs for 1 week event and you should be good for the rest of them after.

This! Now that I think about it I had to skip and entire egg opening to catch up, something to do with extra eggs not registering at a certain point, after that I've been good. I'm sitting on over 100 eggs and the number isn't going down.

I strongly suggest avoiding the last steps of the weekly events, sometimes you spend 15 eggs to get 5 and 1500 amber to get 800. I understand that you're spending it to buy something while getting some of it in return but while it might be true for amber it almost never is for eggs and this could be the reason why some people are struggling with sustaining eggs (or it might be awful RNG but that should balance itself out in the long run anyway)
