Game crashes at start up using Radeon 7900 XT

I tried both the current WHQL driver, and the latest "adrenalin-edition-22.40.43.05" release meant to fix issues with this game. Neither driver is able to launch this game past the inital screen with the round dogtag. The screen goes black, then the game crashes. Happens both in normal boot and the games safe mode. It's ironic given this game was a give away bonus for buying my 7900 XT, and it cant even start the game since the game is a total dumpster fire. The Crash of US indeed. They should have just given a different game away as a promo. This is a mess.

Hello, I am also facing the same issue. tried looking for multiple solutions but haven't got any

I guess I have overcome the crash problem on my system.
I disabled all the overlay apps- Xbox game bar, Nvidia Overlay. I also disabled the game boost mode feature on my antivirus and the game started working.
The shader building is taking time but I am relieved that it's much better than crashing on startup.

TLDR:
Solution: go to your AMD Adrenaline app, Performance & Tuning, use custom, and set the GPU clock (MHz) to 80%. Done.
In addition - you can try to go above 80%, as I've only tested it with 80% of GPU clock

The crash problems I experienced at launch were already fixed when they started patching the game. I played through the game basically a couple weeks after launch and never looked back.
