Have the game issues been fixed?
Last of Us 2 will be released for the PC in a few months. If the same people who released Last of Us 1 for the PC will also release Last of Us 2 then there is a chance that they will mess up the game like how they messed up Last of Us 1.

I want to ask is Last of Us 1 for the PC perfectly playable and all of its issues have been fixed or it will steal eat up a lot of your PC resources and you have to change a lot of settings to get the game to behave?

well first off the last of us 2 is ported by a different team so we can't really use the first one to guess chances of them messing it up

secondly, yeah I just finished playing it recently and it's mostly fixed. I had a weird DLSS bug that got fixed when I restarted the game and that's about it.

wdym? the ps5 version is not the same as running it on pc. a different architecture. or did you playtest the port for nd? hmm... i shoulda asked earlier. i would playtest it right now. boring christmas week is perfect for that. yeh...

wonder if i'd find the patch of broken grass in downtown seattle. a meme spot. x)

if you meant part 1... yes... it's in a good condition. i have a minor startup glitch, but it runs fine af if it loads correctly. only one crash spot for me. it's within scope. literally.

if i were to detail the resources. it consumes a rolling average of 10-12 GB of ram, which is normal for this amount of graphics and animation detail. it will consume an entire 6-core cpu in intense scenes with lots of characters on screen. that's normal too. it's alot of animation data. graphics settings are automaticly leveled, based on your specs. you can tweak them to whatever you like to see or how you want it to perform.

all within recommended specs. if you are somewhere in the middle, like me having only 6 GB of vram instead of 8, it does balance the graphics and will stream data in an out to still look as good as possible. just don't overshoot the settings or it may become unstable if you force too high settings for what your hardware can deliver.

Issues were fixed, but now the game is very broken.

It is crashing very specific location and often. the old issue is back.

Game works for me. It was crashing randomly after an hour or so until I turned down the texture streaming rate setting. Now it runs flawlessly. I am playing with a 3060ti for reference.

I had my first playthrough this summer, now I'm in NG+. Both flawless, only a minor bug in the HUD (sometimes not showing everything in the lower right corner) and some missing textures at certain angles. No performance issus at all.

Are you sure, because my post shows its actually very smooth above. So if it was the game, than I wouldnt have such a flat FPS/FT graph.

Well, since I have smooth gameplay, with proof posted above. It contradicts your statement.

What are your specs?
