Has a gaming laptop with core i7 (6 cores), 16gb ddr4, and gtx 1660ti any chance?
Man I hear everyone has issues with their Nvidia 30 series even to the 40. I preordered the game, but refunded after reading the comments. I still wanna know if my gf65 thin gaming laptop has any chance to run it in the main future?

I have a very similar gaming laptop except it got an AMD cpu and I wouldn't play the latest triple A titles on it let alone a lazy console port like this one.
Tried Uncharted which is a less demanding title than this game and had it on a mix of high and very high at 1080p and got 40-60fps while my desktop was able to run at 4K ultra and close to 100fps.

It will, but after those "Promised Patches" as of now you will have a hard time running it.
wait for this Friday patches reviews and you decide.

I have an i7 4790k (4 cores, 4 threads), 16 Go, GTX1080 and the game runs very well for me @1440p with fsr quality.
I am above the 100% videoram limit (~115%), everything on high, characters on ultra, some effects down to half resolution. I have between 40 and 60 FPS depending on the scene.

Not 100% sure, but I guess you'll be able to run it with good settings on 1080p.

i think i may have the laptop you're talking about. on all low settings, 1080p, fsr ultra performance, i get around 40-60 fps.

It's possible, but it won't be pretty regardless. It takes considerable time and money to make a game optimized for more powerful console hardware and then trying to make a PC port to work on graphics cards which are not very powerful. This is going to be a continuing problem going forward. It's something people will have to accept. Again, VRAM is the main issue here and when you are short on it, bad things happen.

PS5 has technologies that make it particularly optimized to utilize the hardware it has much more efficiently than a PC, and it has access to 16GB of shared GDDR6.

"PS5's architecture allows the APU to have data loaded directly into memory through an IO component in the APU which can decompress data in real-time. Imagine accessing data in a zip file without the need to extract it first. PS5 can load it directly into memory without the need to extract it. And both CPU and GPU have access to it without the need of copying from CPU memory into GPU memory via PCIe bus and eventually having to keep it in sync."

What does PS5 HW architecture have to do with the game PC port being incorrectly built ?

See other Playstation games that are on PC that were ported from PS5 version such as Marvel's Spider Man, God Of War, etc.

Possibly, but I'd lean towards unlikely. You need to post full specs as the performance of laptop i7's varies widely with model and gpu performance is heavily dependent on screen resolution.

If you have the normal 1660 ti laptop model not Q-Max then it will be the weakest component - 6GB memory, mobile 1660ti's are about desktop gtx 1060 / gtx 970 performance i.e. at the minimum listed specs which the game is having problems with at the moment.
