Cyberpunk 2077 was, is, and always will be a better game than this, change my mind.
1: Cyberpunk's plot and story is deeper, more well written, with more player choices affecting the story, characters, and outcome.
2: Combat, character development, and weapons and variety of weapons far better.
3: Far more characters with deep backstories.
4: The Last of Us was a bad ripoff of The Walking Dead released at the height of the shows popularity and rode the beginning of the post-apocalypse-virus wave. Literally the whole plot of getting to a quarantine zone has been done how many times :rshout:
5: Cyberpunk has tons of different story threads to go down, and can be played dozens of times different ways. This game has zero replay value.
6: Bugs were never an issue for anyone with a decent gaming rig, and now are non-existent.
7: Cyberpunk is receiving free expansions and DLC, TLoU is charging $60 for a 10 year old overrated game with 10-20 hours of gameplay.

I'm just gonna play it for the gameplay style, not really the story.

Why not consider the possibility that both games are good on their own rights? They are not exactly the same, both have good things and flaws, but they resonate with audiences.

For example, consider Gran Turismo and Mario Kart: Some people would say Gran Turismo is so polished and details and realistic while bashing Mario Kart, and at the same time other people would defend Mario Kart saying that is way more fun than Gran Turismo.

If you think about it, engaging is such discussions is as unnecessary and pointless as discussing why some people prefer Pesi or Coca cola.

You make all 2077 fans and enjoyers look bad.

Why even compare the two completely different games and genre.

Please give OP no awards. Its such an obvious and bad attempt..seriously.

this is the biggest bait... just look at all the scores each games got, how many awards each got, and which one got a sequel and a tv show.
I won't change your mine but I'll share my own opinion. I played and finished cyberpunk on GOG, and TLOU on ps4 a while back. Both are some of my favorite games of all time.

writing is a bit subjective in this regard. Cyberpunk is an immersive sim RPG, where TLOU is a linear movie simulator.
One thing is for sure, I hated Johnny Silverhand, only thought he was cool when I got to pretend to be john wick and listen to an epic gutar solo in the background, ellie is joel's daughter, she's cute and loveable... for the most part. But at least I enjoyed one character where as I hated the other. Never at any point did I find Johnny to be interesting or compelling. He's over powered and talented for no reason until the plot wants him to not be. Losing to the guy who murdered rebecca. My V argued with him on the princibals of morality based off of what is considered right. Destroying evil monopoly corporations and letting the world get taken by nature, or let the corporations run rampant. He was the most interesting in this retrospect, but the choices I had to make later down the line of the story made me feel disconnected to the route I wanted my relationship with him to be.
I assume you're not talking about Judy / Panam though. I like and remember these characters for different reasons.

Gameplay is so different among games it might as well be subjective. You wanna convince me that Doom Eternal's gameplay is better then F.E.A.Rs? Both games have different reasons for why I enjoy them.
If anything I hated cyberpunk's gameplay because of how brain dead enemies were. Reminded me of Far Cry how enemies would just stand in the open and W key me as I mow them all down with Overature headshots.
At least in TLOU enemies on the harder difficulties had the brain power to fall back, stick togehter in groups and take cover.

so your first point is for the quality of the game's overall writing, and this one is for the amount of writing for individual characters.... awesome.

So what, breaking bad has a ton of commonly used troups, that didn't stop it from being one of the most iconic shows of all time.

well this is something that can only be done in open world games which are boring as ♥♥♥♥ to me, I've beaten cyberpunk a long time ago and have no wish to trudge through boring endless cutscenes and slow walking sections. You say you like some of the characters in cyberpunk but there are at least 50 others that I find to be lifeless and boring as hell to listen to.
replay value is subjective, I've probably replayed Halo's campaign over a million times at this point, i have many more runs i wanna do for doom eternal, so yeah.

no, I have a 3080 and during release I would clip under the ground every now and then and die instantly. it was the most annoying thing in the world.

- Devil May Cry 5 is also better than every game in existence.
- Pizza is better than every other eatable.
- Curvy thick women are better than skinny female skeletons.
- Windows 10 is better than Windows 11.
- DCU is better than MCU.
- Ferrari is better than Mercedes.
- Samsung phones are better than Apple garbage.
- 2022 is better than 2021.

There. I have shared my opinion.

You Mean UNFINISHEDPUNK 2077 ? Where is the RPG ? and all promise ? Check the ingame old trailer, like metro system, tunning cars , racing , bribe the police, factions systems , etc.

The game is a fail. Only CDPROJEKT fanboy defend that
