I've been watching the story trailer in both languages and still can't decide.
Will probably do both, but which one first.

English dub sounds really good, but not as good as Japanese.
But I'm gonna miss a lot of what they're saying if they talk much in the middle of a battle with Japanese dub.

English. Even if its goofy here and there, it would just be an AC staple at that point. Like unless there's a voice that actively hurts my ears, it will be fine.

The English dub is the default "gruff dude who smokes 50 packs of cigarettes a day" so if given the option, I'll use Japanese voice overs.

I think it would be very weird if there would be no option to choose. And I know the store page says full japanese and english audio, but that does not always mean you can play with japanese voices and english text and vice versa. Because oddly enough there is some games where if you want japanese voices you have to play with japanese text as well, same thing with english voices and english text. I just hope that is not the case with this game. but I am unsure if Fromsoft has let us pick the voiced language options in game before.

I actually did not know Sekiro had a voice option, but that is one of three Fromsoft games I have not finished. As for AC voice acting in english it really can go either way. Like everyone will agree generation 2 does not sound good but it is funny. But I just hope there is a voice option in AC6 because I honestly feel japanese mech games should be played with japanese voices. I just think they fit better myself.

When I watched the gameplay reveal, I watched both the Japanese and English versions and I just like the voice acting better in the Japanese version. They sound amazing, honestly!

If you understand English by ear, then the choice is obvious, this is English.
If you do not understand English by ear, then Japanese is better.
There are 2 reasons for this:
1. Seyu. The level of voice-over professions in Japan is several times higher than in other countries, including Europe and America.
2. Japanese is more emotional, and it is easier to catch intonations and emotions in it.
