One thing I will say is that DB isn't a great, not very consistent stagger punish. It's better for setting players up to get punished for a stagger, but it shouldn't be the main force for doing damage.
A lot of weapons are like that though.
They're great if you're close, but bad if you're far.
Or they're great if the target is clumsy, but not so much if the target can dodge.
They're great if they dodge sideways, but less useful if the opponent uses a medial dodge.
You could look at it in a different light though. Like if you're consistently showering the area they're standing with mini-cluster-bombs they may feel forced to go airborne even if they aren't particularly suited for aerial combat.
And then you throw the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ into the garbage like everything else because of course the devs buffed the lightweights and mid-lights too damn much, allowing them to abuse the ♥♥♥♥ out the QB system and be untouchable. C:
BML-G1/P29CNT used to be a dual back mount in older titles and is the most accurate unit to use if trying to build a rendition of the AC2: Another Age HW Biped Intro AC in AC6 based on functionality (Hangman | Link is https://armoredcore.fandom.com/wiki/Hangman). However, I understand that people will use new weaponry in place of stuff that is no longer available or if a behavior of a new weapon feels like a better feel for the character if they were to be in the new universe -especially taking into consideration the Single Player / Mission focus of the game / world.
The container missiles have more tactics to them as you can fire them at an upward angle and they'll hopefully rain down on the target, to the sides of cover so that you can avoid hits while forcing the enemy's movements, and even under and behind targets that are flying around to potentially catch them off guard.
The Delivery Boy is more some kind of re-imagining of the Bomb Missiles from 3rd Generation that would pop into plasma or howitzer bomblets over the target once at a certain range to the target -and the ground torpedo that had issues because uneven ground would either break the ground pod or obstruct the 4 missiles launched by the pod that were staying just above the floor level they were launched from.
I'll give Delivery Boy the fact that it is a more functional weapon compared to those counterparts, but it seems intended more for anti-tank use and sadly there is only one true tank base in this generation. The other tanks are really an air-boat and a go-cart base -making them either too nimble or too airborne to really give the Delivery Boy a good use case. And even if you use them against true tanks, most true tanks are meant to counter and handle the explosive damage, so they simply do not deal enough damage nor have the AOE on the explosives to punish tanks. Delivery Boy, among other weaponry, should have gotten buffs instead of LWs getting the buffs to QB as they did.
