How people beating game so fast?
People are already at NG+ or even ++, yet after month of playing I'm now at final mission of chapter 3, because I play at my own temp, yet I just wondered how people finish games so fast especially when they are pretty hard

AC veteran here. been waiting a long time for the game and I used some old strategies from previous AC games, such as tank tread + dual cannon build, which are apparently really good in this game.

You answered the question yourself. You play at your own pace. I finished my first run one day, ng+ the next, and ng++ the next. But I took over a week to finish NG because I found the game pretty dull, so I'd only do a couple of missions at a time, then maybe not even play it again for a few days.

It's not a long game if you sit down and pump time into it, but lots of people have less free time or don't stay interested as long as others.

my first play through took me 50 hours because i spent way to much time messing with the mechs and test ac portion of the game. I just got to ng++ and cant wait to grab more gear!

I am just no lifeing it. I have about 120 hours in this game already but I have not fully completed NG++ yet. Spent the majority of my time in multiplayer 1v1s.

Only took me like 4 days between work, and bed. Also no i didnt use meta builds. I just make my own monstrosity, had fun, and didnt really struggle beyond c-spider for like 2 hours.
Edit: Ive also done all the arenas, and collected all weapons. I just dont care to S rank missions. Just need to figure out what ac parts im missing. No clue.

There's nothing wrong with that, and there's no reason to compare yourself with people that like playing games for an entire day. I've done it before, but I usually also tap out after a couple of hours unless a game is really engaging me.

It's not going anywhere, so there's no need to rush. You paid for it, so enjoy it however suits you best.

I like Armored core, so I played until I 100%'d everything, then played some more by using NPC builds.

I dunno, man. And I even S-ranked every mission before moving on to the next one. NG+ and NG++ aren't any harder than the first time, especially since you're all kitted out by then and you know where every thing is. Or at least I did since I repeated every mission so much. Each playthrough went faster and faster. And the bosses don't have new moves. I was really expecting them to at least have new moves but they didn't.

your first run is always kinda slow both because your feeling out your mech building skills and becuase you dont know what to expect. my first playthrough was nearly triple the actually time it took me to clear it on my second and 3rd time repeat playthrough go stupidly fast because you know what you need to do an where everything is.

I got 48 hours in on AC 6 and in NG++, but I was taking my time, buying everything. I was also looking combat logs without looking up where they were

Took me about a week because I have a job and other priorities. Some people beat up to NG++ in the first day, so...

Playing a lot
Being good generally
Having experience from previous games
YT guides
Finding good builds and strats.

I for example during NG+ discovered how super strong Assult Boost + kick are when using hard lock. Since then all bosses and missions became easy and I stopped dying.

only the first play through took a long amount of time. NG+ and NG++ was done in a few hours each. A huge majority of my hours was actually the first play through and then hunting logs.
