I wish Nightfall Raven was harder
Not as in a better AC but somehow better AI I guess? Anyone else agree?

They already got lots of quick decision, input read, attack combo and secret cheats.
I wish them harder too, but NIGHTFALL is just... not good, even in your own hand.

If they wanted to make him harder theyd need to give him a better AC because that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ generator is literally the only thing thats holding him back. Well, and maybe the boosters, but that also ties into the generator because he cant support a better set.

The Ling-Tai isn't great but not too bad in my experience.

They actually got infinite EN and 0 cooldown pile bunker, it's restricted though to look them somewhat realistic. Anyway NIGHTFALL can do the boosting that you can't with same configuration.

His AI is about as good as it can get. The problem is his AC is ♥♥♥♥.

He input reads *certain* things. If you specifically try to melee him, he will instantly react with an AA or even a raw pilebunker. Which is pretty wild if you encounter it for the first time by surprise. Other than though he has nothing going for him.
The only way I cope with this OP is by the headcannon that Nightfall Raven was in a SMURF AC.

I guess that's all we can do. Can't help but think if he'd just had more AP that would probably help a lot.

I'm almost glad they didn't put him in a better mech. If his AC was much better with the same AI, the fight would likely be infuriatingly hard, as he would still have infinite energy. As it stands though, I do think rusty was the harder fight.

It would have been cool to see Nightfall get the Rusty "glow up", though I'm not sure what kind of AC it would have been - maybe some kind of PCA-like AC that was jacked, and with the defeat of that version of Nightfall giving us the parts.

That would be cool. It really was a travesty that we didn't get any PCA parts.

Shoulda just given the Nightfall Human+ and giga cheats, make them like Last Raven's Zinaida

The problem with AC vs AC in AC6 is that stagger on ACs in general just nukes them. Its way too easy to build up stagger with certain weapons and then one shot them or stagger extend them to death.

Agreed. The more I play the old-gen AC games, the more I'd rather prefer the mini-stagger/slowdown effect that ACs suffer on getting hit, rather than ACs being completely disabled by a stagger bar filling up.

It's satisfying to get a charged pilebunker kill, but it also contributes to how easy the bossfights are. Especially if you're dual-wielding to maximize the stagger buildup. You can pretty much cheese the "Defend the Dam Complex" mission by staggering and pilebunkering everyone. All you need are dual Ducketts, a pilebunker, and a Morley.
